Architectree - architecture, urban planning and design studio located in Barcelona with more than ten years of experience.
We develop projects that interact with the environment and endure for future generations. We believe that each project should reflect the essence of the place and its inhabitants in the most ideal way.

Research is the starting point of every project. The environment, the program, the future inhabitants, etc.
We look for impressions, facts, experiences. Everything that could be relevant to the assignment. We collect all the inputs, organize and structure them to form the basis of the future project.
That is why our projects are unique. They are the result of particular conditions, needs and desires, showing that diversity and richness in the final definition.
Architectree started more than ten years ago with a group of students from the Faculty of Architecture of Barcelona, who joined together to face the first commissions. It was the moment of investigation of composition and organization of the housing unit and optimization of the distribution.
Soon the first larger commissions began to arrive and the exploration focused on the interaction with the environment, volumetric organization of the projects, materials.
In parallel, the team, led by Robertas Podjapolskis, began to explore the urban scale, submitting to various competitions both nationally and internationally. Where they obtained different awards. The most outstanding was perhaps finalist in the competition for 400 homes in Plaza Gloriés in Barcelona.
Currently the Archtiectree team develops projects of very different scales from interior design to multi-family housing projects.
The interest in construction, the environment and people's perception of the built space, makes Architectree projects combine innovation with passive systems of resource use, comfort with sustainability. Projects that seek to integrate into the context and interact with the surrounding nature.
With a degree from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona and a master's degree from the same school, Robertas has directed projects and has participated in numerous competitions both in Spain and internationally.
He cultivates a small vegetable garden, practices sports and is passionate about architecture, nature and literature.
