A flat plot with numerous pine trees and a few meters from the beach of Castelldefels.

The houses are designed to be integrated into the context thanks to their materiality. Open to the best views and taking advantage of the north-south orientation.

A rectangular wooden volume is placed on a stone veneer base. The lattice panels and various pergolas provide protection from the sun and give the façade a formal juice.

The energy performance of the houses is optimized through passive and active systems. Solar protection elements, cross ventilation, ventilated roofs and the study of the facade to eliminate thermal bridges are part of passive use strategies.

The excavation of the basement is used to install a geothermal air conditioning system integrated into the air renewal system of the houses. This provides fresh, clean air with controlled relative humidity while reducing energy consumption.

The houses are distributed over three floors plus the subway garage. On the first floor each house has a generous living-dining room with double height.

On the second floor are the bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and closet. And on the top floor there is a work area with a terrace overlooking the sea and the carpet of pine trees on the site.
